The 2017 Cross Country season is officially in the books. The guys had a tremendous season and are already making off season plans and setting next season’s goals. The season came to a close with another WSCS first…the first individual state champion. Nate Haley and his limitless energy found the way to the front of the pack within the first mile and he never let up! The strength of competition today spurred both Nate and Isaac into running course bests. It was truly a great day to be a Lion! Watching Isaac’s determination as he picked off 7 runners between mile 2-3 was exciting and gives us a tremendous hope for his running future. Nate’s victory and sunny disposition at every exchange with Coach Wallace was such a pleasure to see. Coach has her hands full with these two boys but somehow she manages to help them bring out their best. Congratulations on a wonderful season!
